What exactly is encaustic? I like the colors and what looks like lots of layers.
ReplyDeleteEncaustic is a beeswax based medium that was developed in ancient Greece. The paint is applied with heat, and is insanely versatile. I am just learning/experimenting. Fun & frustrating, simultaneously!
